This policy explains what personal information Codecraft Hub Nigeria ("CodeCraft", "we", "us") collects through codecraftnigeriahq.com, why we collect it and how we look after it. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form we collect your name and email address. If you choose to give them, we also collect your phone number, company name, project type, budget range and message.
- Messages. If you email, call or WhatsApp us, we keep the content of that conversation and your contact details.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit, to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Our fonts and images are served from our own server.
Why we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals or quotes you ask for.
- To deliver and support projects if you become a client.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We rely on your consent when you contact us, on the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure business.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us run our business, such as our hosting and email providers, and only as much as they need. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them unless you have become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
How we protect it
Our site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries are stored in a private location on our server that is not reachable from the web, and only our team can access them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@codecraftnigeriahq.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
